Michael studied Drama at the University of Hull before training as an actor at Arts Ed, London.

Also a writer, his poetry has been published in anthology, he wrote a regular tour diary for The Guardian website arts pages, and his play Voice was recently published in Brand Magazine. He holds a Master of Philosophy degree for research into Shakespeare’s clowns & fools.
Having played Lemuel Gulliver in the 2009 production of Gulliver by Kit Lambert, Michael is delighted to be returning to Cardiff and to be working with Hijinx again.
Michael was born and grew up in Warwickshire.
